The increasing number of people visiting Florida beaches every year is leading to more shark attacks. There are so many people in the water that we are forcing a human-shark interaction. Around half of the world's shark attacks occur off Florida shores.
Here are some headlines.
Paramedics treat man after a shark attack in the Gulf while he was swimming in
chest-deep water. He was airlifted by helicopter to a Fort Myers hospital, where
he was reported to be in good condition. (below left)

A boy is in stable condition after being attacked by a shark as he swam with a group of children at a public beach. The attack occurred on a sunny afternoon when the beach was filled with sunbathers and swimmers. EMS move victim to hospital (above right)
