Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island

On a tiny tropical haven, known as Fruit Salad Island, live and breathe bananas, melons, mangos, lemons and other fruit who have made it their home.

The fruity islanders spend all day basking in the three S's...sun, surf and sleeping.

But the islanders are not alone. They share their peaceful island paradise with a real nut – a wacky, weird and wild coconut named Fred.

The Coconut of Quendor is a powerful item in the Zork series of computer games which contains the essence of high magic.

In Beyond Zork: The Coconut of Quendor,  

the Implementors use the coconut as a basketball. When the player character meets up with the Implementors, the coconut is stolen by the Ur-grue and taken to his caverns under the Mithicus Mountains.

Quendor is the name of the large fictional kingdom in which Infocom'sZork series of computer games is set. The history of Quendor was incrementally built and expanded per the plot requirements of each new game, rather than being set in stone early on with only minor details being fleshed out. Consequently, there are many gaps and outright contradictions between games.
